A Place to Gather and Eat With the Seasons
The farm stand at Blue Heron Farm is a simple and welcoming place to buy food grown right here. It is where harvest meets community and where the rhythm of the farm shows up week by week.
Our farm stand is seasonal and reflects what is coming out of the fields and orchard at that moment. Some weeks are overflowing. Others are quieter. Every visit tells you exactly what the land is offering right now.
What You Will Find
The farm stand features a rotating selection of fresh produce and farm goods, depending on the season.
You might find freshly harvested vegetables, orchard fruit, eggs, flowers, dried fruit, or other value added items from the farm. Everything offered is grown or made with care, and availability changes as crops come in and fade out.
If you are looking for something specific, we recommend checking in before you come. Part of shopping at a farm stand is letting go of a grocery list and leaning into what is ripe.
What You Will Find This Week
Each week, I share a general list of what is expected to be available at the farm stand so you can plan ahead for the upcoming weekend.
I do my best to update this list throughout the season, typically by Wednesday, based on what is ripening, what has been harvested, and what looks ready in the fields and orchard. Farming is always a little unpredictable, so this list is a guide rather than a guarantee.
The farm stand operates on a first come, first serve basis. Availability can change quickly, and the list online will not always reflect exactly what is in the stand at any given moment. Some items sell out early, and others may appear as fresh harvest comes in.
If you are hoping for something specific, coming earlier in the day gives you the best chance. The best approach is to come curious and see what the land is offering that week.
The Experience of Shopping Here
Shopping at the farm stand is meant to feel easy and unrushed.
Kids wander nearby. Neighbors stop to talk. Someone is usually washing greens or bringing in a fresh harvest while you shop. You might get recipe ideas, storage tips, or a quick update on what is coming next in the fields.
This is not a grab and go stop. It is a place to slow down, ask questions, and connect with the people growing your food.
Payment and Accessibility
We gratefully accept all common forms of payment, including cash, cards, and digital payment options.
Our goal is to make shopping at the farm stand easy and accessible for everyone. If you ever have questions at checkout, just ask. We are happy to help.
When We Are Open
The farm stand is open seasonally and hours shift throughout the year based on harvest and daylight.
Current days and times are always shared on our website and social media. We recommend checking before heading out, especially early or late in the season.
Why the Farm Stand Matters
The farm stand is one of the most direct ways to support this farm.
When you shop here, you are buying food at its freshest while helping sustain local agriculture, fair labor, and regenerative practices. Every purchase supports the work happening in the fields, the orchard, and the community around this place.
It also keeps food close to home and strengthens the connection between grower and eater.
Come As You Are
You do not need to be a CSA member to shop the farm stand. You do not need to know what you are looking for. You just need to show up.
Whether you come for a few tomatoes, a bouquet of flowers, or simply to walk the farm and see what is growing, we are glad to have you here.
The farm stand is part of the heartbeat of Blue Heron Farm. We hope it becomes part of your routine too.
