Excited to announce the
2026 Blue Heron Farm CSA
Excited to announce the 2026 Blue Heron Farm CSA!
The 2026 growing season is getting closer, and we are excited to share our twenty week CSA with the community again. Each winter we look closely at what the land taught us, what crops thrived, and where we can improve. From there we build a crop plan that focuses on abundance, consistency, and a healthy diversity of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and orchard fruit.
This CSA is one of the main ways we connect our community to truly local food. It also helps us plan ahead, plant intentionally, and tend the fields with your weekly harvest in mind.
Thank you for supporting local agriculture and we cannot wait to grow for you this upcoming season!
How the CSA Works
1. Seasonal Commitment
Our CSA runs for twenty weeks beginning in mid June. Weather may push the exact start date a little earlier or later, but the full season will span twenty weeks.
By joining the CSA you support the farm for the entire season. Your early commitment allows us to buy seeds, plan labor, invest in soil health, and build a strong foundation for the year.
2. Weekly Share
Each week you will receive a curated box of fresh seasonal produce. One of the unique features of our CSA is that you can customize your box.
You will receive your order email every Wednesday at 5 PM with a list of what is available that week. Your selections are due by Saturday at 11:59 PM.
If you do not submit an order, you will receive our standard farmer picked box for the week.
3. Pick Up and Delivery Options
For 2026 you will commit to one of the two weekly pickup days.
Pickup on the Farm either on
Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM
OR
Friday from 4 to 7 PM
Home Delivery
Delivery to Wilkerson and Bishop proper is available on both Tuesday and Friday for $8 per week. Click here to learn more about our delivery area.
If you are unable to pick up or accept delivery one week, please let us know in advance. Any unclaimed boxes will be repurposed.
4. Add Ons
During your weekly order you will have the option to add value items like jams, dried fruit, and other seasonal goodies. Add ons are billed separately using online invoices.
5. What Is in the Box
The box options change with the season. Early summer brings greens, lettuces, garlic scapes, carrots, and beets. Mid season brings tomatoes, basils, squash, cucumbers, and orchard fruit. Late season brings apples, hearty greens, and fall crops.

7. The Order Form
Each week you will select six items to fill your box.
Optional add ons and home delivery can be added before checkout.
8. Dealer’s Choice
If you want a little surprise, select the Dealer’s Choice option. That might mean the first tomatoes of the season, a share of rare varieties, or something fun from the orchard.
9. First Come First Served
Some crops are limited. Orders are filled in the order they come in. If there is something you really want, order early.
10. Payment
Payment for the twenty week season is collected upfront through our website. Weekly add ons are billed separately.
11. Low Waste Commitment
We do our best to keep the farm low waste. Please return any reusable containers like jars or green berry pints during your pickup.
12. Supporting Local Agriculture
Your CSA payment helps us plant early, buy supplies, improve infrastructure, and care for the soil. You are directly supporting small scale, regenerative agriculture in the Eastern Sierra and helping us build a more resilient local food system.
Farm to Crag CSA Scholarship Program
We are grateful to continue our partnership with Farm to Crag to offer fifteen CSA scholarships this season. Each scholarship provides a $150 benefit toward the cost of a CSA share. The goal is to help make the CSA more accessible for households who would benefit from regular access to fresh, local produce.
Food access can be challenging in our valley, and this program helps lower the barrier for folks who want to bring more fresh food into their home but may not be able to commit to the full cost. Scholarship recipients join the CSA just like any other member and receive the same weekly care and attention in their boxes.
Applications are submitted directly through Farm to Crag. Approved recipients will receive a unique code to use at checkout when signing up for the CSA. All application information is kept private, and selections are based on need and available funding.
We are thankful for this partnership and for a community that believes everyone deserves access to good food grown close to home.
