A Delicious Powerhouse

Whenever I feel like I am not running at my full capacity - I go running to this. None of the stereotypical “dirt” taste here. The trick is to use the freshest beets you can find.

Ingredients

Beets | roots & greens washed

honey

lemon juice

Instructions

Step One

Pull out your juicer and start by juicing the greens, then push through the beets.

Step Two

Let me juice settle for a bit, and then pour it into a large mason jar. Add lemon juice and honey to taste. Shake well. Taste again. Adjust. More honey if you would like it sweeter, more lemon if it is lacking tang. Serve. Enjoy.
